SATURDAY 13th DECEMBER 2014       RED ISLAND, SKERRIES

LEADERS: HOWARD FOX & MARIA CULLEN

Rocky and Sandyshore Seaweeds
The seaweeds on the drift line when the tide turns are fascinating, as the species composition and bulk of fronds that are cast up depend on heavy weather at sea and differs as the season progresses. On a rather inclement day, we explored the  flora and fauna of the seashore.
